It is shown that the idea of dynamic programming can be directly applied to the alignment of two amino acid sequences and another method of alignment is reformulated by our method. The computer alignment of the sequences is demonstrated.

うーん。まさにアミノ酸配列のアラインメントを dynamic programming でやるというNeedleman-Wunsch アルゴリズムが1970年に発表されているわけですが、何が違うのでしょう？誰か教えて〜
